Territory Sales Representative
We are looking for an experienced Territory Sales Representative who will help us increase sales and address customer needs within the specific region assigned to them.
A Territory Sales Representative has responsibilities that consist of presenting our products and services to potential clients, identifying unique consumer characteristics and recommending ways to promote and sell our products as per the specific requirements of the region in question. To be apt for this role, you should have excellent communication abilities and be highly motivated and determined to meet our sales objectives/target.
Ultimately, your main aim is to help us grow our customer base and establish our reputation in the region assigned to you.
Responsibilities of a Territory Sales Representative
- Be a point of contact for existing and potential customers within the assigned territory
- Identify local business opportunities and challenges in order to help plan accordingly
- Present our products and services to prospective customers, build awareness about our company
- Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions for the same
- Work in close contact with salespeople and other internal teams to meet individual and group sales quotas, brainstorm as a combined effort to set goals
- Answer customer questions and queries about features, pricing, and additional services
- Cross-sell products, when appropriate
- Collaborate, coordinate with sales representatives from other territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach, synergies among each other
Requirements for a Territory Sales Representative
- Bachelor's or Associate's level degree preferred, but not required.
- 2+ years experience in a sales role, field/territory sales preferred
- Familiarity with our industry would give you an edge
- Hands-on experience with CRM software
- Strong communication skills
- Resilient with a solid and proven track record in achieving sales targets
